Swaggy Stocks Alternatives in 2026: From Free Dashboard to Something You Can Build On
Swaggy Stocks is a good free WallStreetBets dashboard: actively maintained, unusually honest about the rules-based pipeline behind its sentiment. What it does not publish is API documentation, a price or a commercial license. Which alternative fits you therefore depends less on rank than on whether your next step happens in a browser or in code.
The short version
- You just want to look at charts: stay on Swaggy Stocks, then add ApeWisdom for a second mention count
- You want the same data in code: you have to leave, because Swaggy Stocks documents no API
- You need a model score, not a keyword label: Adanos, StockGeist or AltIndex
- You need written commercial rights: Adanos Professional at $299/mo. Quiver's Commercial tier is contact-priced
- Do not build on: Tradestie's documented endpoint, whose TLS certificate expired in January 2026
What Swaggy Stocks actually gives you
Swaggy Stocks, styled SwaggyStocks on its own site, is a free ad-supported dashboard for WallStreetBets and wider social sentiment with options tooling attached. Nothing about it is abandoned. Checked on 26 July 2026, the WallStreetBets dashboard was rendering current tickers under that same day's date, the terms of service showed a September 2025 revision and the methodology page carried a last-updated line of 9 September 2025.
The dashboard covers three areas. The WallStreetBets section holds Most Mentioned 24hrs, a realtime view and Max Pain. The Sentiment section splits into social, commodities, crypto, a short squeeze list and penny stocks. The Options section carries Theta Gang. There are 4chan /biz pages as well. The homepage carries two counters: 10,000,000 mentions tracked and 1,000+ US stocks and commodities.
Swaggy Stocks documents its sentiment method, which is rarer than it should be. The site says it intentionally uses a "bag-of-words (BoW)" and "rules-based/key-terms" pipeline and not heavyweight neural NLP models, to keep the system fast and explainable for market-specific language.
Swaggy Stocks states the tradeoff without being asked: a rules-based approach will not understand nuance the way a human does, so sarcasm and irony can slip through. That is honest engineering, not a defect. A keyword pipeline is cheap to run, easy to audit and perfectly adequate for noticing that r/wallstreetbets has turned on a ticker.
Sources are named loosely. WallStreetBets is called out by name, but no page enumerates which subreddits or forums feed the numbers. Their own wording is that symbols get counted "in public posts and comments across tracked communities and forums". Access is gated by account: signed-out visitors see exactly 15 tickers before a prompt to register. The realtime view is limited to the top five WSB tickers on America/New York hours, with a 30-minute delay the site describes as anti-scraping.
Then the ceiling, which is a hard one. Swaggy Stocks publishes no API documentation. A developer key screen does exist, with a counter that reads "Active Keys 0 / 5". The terms of service even give a rate guideline of roughly 100 requests per rolling 7-day window for free accounts. What does not exist is a spec: no endpoint reference, no OpenAPI file, no docs page.
Swaggy Stocks publishes no price either. The pricing URL returns 404, no figure appears anywhere on the site and the terms reserve the right to change quotas or pricing at any time. That leaves the terms for any paid or expanded access unpublished; ask the vendor directly rather than assuming a price or license.
The terms of service prohibit scraping, automated harvesting and rate-limit evasion. Copying, modification, distribution or derivative works all require permission. No commercial license is offered anywhere.
None of that makes Swaggy Stocks a bad product. It leaves one workflow we could verify from public documentation: using the product in the browser.
The fork: browsing or building
Swaggy Stocks publishes no API documentation, so the choice comes down to whether your next step happens in a browser or in code. Everything else, the ticker coverage, the sentiment method, the price, only matters once you have answered that.
Stay on a dashboard
Staying on a dashboard means you keep reading someone else's rendering of the crowd.
Fits you if you check a handful of tickers a few times a day, you want a ranked list with a chart and nothing you ship depends on the data.
Costs you history you control, backtests, alerts on your own thresholds. The vendor decides the view and the ticker count. Nothing you see comes with a license to reuse it.
Verdict: Swaggy Stocks is already a good answer. Adding ApeWisdom as a second mention count costs nothing.
Move to an API
Moving to an API means you pull the numbers yourself and decide what they mean.
Fits you if you want alerts on your own rules, a backtest, a bot, a dashboard of your own or a scheduled pull into a spreadsheet.
Costs you a key, usually a monthly fee and one real decision: what the number in the response actually measures.
Verdict: this path is closed on Swaggy Stocks. Keys exist but documentation does not. Harvesting the site is ruled out by their terms.
One warning before either path. The temptation, when a site issues keys but publishes no docs, is to call whatever endpoint the web app calls. Do not. An undocumented endpoint is an unsupported dependency. On Swaggy Stocks it also breaks the agreement you accepted by using the site.
If you are staying on a dashboard
If a dashboard is all you need, Swaggy Stocks is already one of the better free ones, so the sensible move is to add complementary free views on top of it. Each option below answers a slightly different question about the same crowd.
ApeWisdom, for the cleanest free mention count
ApeWisdom tracks the most popular stock and crypto boards on Reddit and 4chan, free, with no signup. Its methodology page names all fifteen subreddits it scans, among them wallstreetbets, stocks, investing, options, pennystocks and Daytrading, with 4chan /biz as a separate filter. ApeWisdom scans them twice an hour.
Ticker detection is deliberately lexical: symbols count only when written in uppercase, while a ticker repeated inside one comment still counts as a single mention. That second rule is worth more than it looks. We come back to it under bots below.
ApeWisdom's API response carries no sentiment field: what you get is rank, ticker, name, mentions, upvotes and the 24-hour deltas. Our ApeWisdom alternatives guide goes deeper on where that ceiling sits.
Quiver Quantitative's WallStreetBets page, still online but not a live substitute
Quiver Quantitative's free WallStreetBets page looks like the obvious browsing swap for the Swaggy Stocks Most Mentioned view. It is not, because the numbers on it are old. Checked on 26 July 2026, the time series embedded in that page ends at 2025-02-21T14:57:00, while Quiver's congressional trading page on the same day carried dates through 24 July 2026.
The ticker counts still rendering on Quiver's WallStreetBets page are the February 2025 values. The inf% in 596 of 597 % Change cells is a second sign that the comparison calculation is not producing usable percentages. The page does not expose enough information to identify the exact denominator.
We report what the page returns, not why. Vendors restore datasets, so open it and read the date yourself before relying on it. Our Quiver Quantitative alternatives guide lays out the full evidence, along with what Quiver's API does still sell in 2026.
AltIndex, for per-platform sentiment documentation
AltIndex documents its sentiment per platform, which almost nobody else does.
- Reddit: a float from 0.0 to 1.0 derived from NLP over posts and comments, with history from February 2021
- X: an integer from 0 to 100 derived from NLP over cashtag posts, with history from September 2025
- Stocktwits: an integer from 0 to 100 taken from users' own bull and bear tags, which AltIndex explicitly labels a community-driven signal, not an NLP one
- 4chan /biz: mentions only
AltIndex covers 2,527 stocks, ETFs and cryptocurrencies with time series going back seven years or more, aggregated daily on America/Los_Angeles boundaries. AltIndex also warns that absolute mention counts are not comparable across platforms, which is a caveat every vendor on this page owes you and almost none of them print.
AltIndex Starter is $29 a month or $199 a year. Pro is $99 a month or $499 a year.
Stocktwits, for self-labeled bull and bear tags
Stocktwits sentiment comes from users tagging their own posts bullish or bearish, not from a model, which AltIndex's documentation independently confirms. That makes it a genuinely different measurement from anything else on this page: a poll of people who bothered to click, rather than a reading of what they wrote.
Stocktwits consumer plans are public. Ad Free is $8.00 a month or $85.00 a year. Edge, the tier that includes Stocktwits social sentiment data, is $22.95 a month or $229.50 a year. The developer side is a separate story, covered under the API path below. Our Stocktwits alternatives guide has the detail.
Adanos ranking pages, for a scored view without an account
Adanos publishes its scoring on free pages that need no key, which is the fastest way to see whether a model score tells you anything a keyword label does not. Reddit Top 100 Stocks ranks by BuzzScore, X Top 100 Stocks does the same for FinTwit and the market sentiment index rolls the feeds into one gauge. Disclosure: Adanos is our product. The disclosure section below sets out where it is the wrong choice.
If you are moving to an API
The axis that matters once you leave Swaggy Stocks is what the response body actually contains. Three different things get sold as sentiment: a mention count, a rules-based label and a model-derived score. They answer different questions, so sort candidates by output first and by price second.
On r/wallstreetbets, polarity is close to a constant, which is worth conceding before any of the profiles below. The board is structurally bullish, saturated with irony and full of loss-porn where the text sentiment inverts the position the author is holding.
The variable with a documented relationship to next-day volume is the change in mention volume, not the sign of the sentiment. Read the delta first: a ticker going from 20 mentions to 400 is the event. Polarity is the secondary filter. What it mostly catches is the moment a squeeze narrative flips from "we are early" to "who is bagholding".
That also means the limitation Swaggy Stocks volunteers about its bag-of-words pipeline is not a bag-of-words limitation. Sarcasm on this corpus defeats every text-sentiment approach, transformers included. A finance-tuned RoBERTa handles negation and phrasing better than a keyword list, which is a real improvement on ordinary posts. It does not read intent, because nothing available today does. What a model score buys is a better-behaved secondary filter.
Adanos, for a model score across five feeds
Adanos returns a score, not a label. Every mention is scored from -1 to +1 by a finance-tuned RoBERTa and VADER ensemble weighted 60/40, extended with 155 finance-specific lexicon terms, 68 scored emoji and 47 contextual finance phrases. Those per-mention scores roll up into BuzzScore, a 0 to 100 daily figure per stock built from five components: mention volume, sentiment, upvotes, subreddit spread and momentum. The method is written up in the BuzzScore whitepaper.
Coverage is five sentiment APIs on one key: Reddit stocks, Reddit crypto, X.com, stock news and Polymarket, across 35,000+ tracked tickers. Reddit posts and comments are collected hourly from 50+ subreddits. The news dataset refreshes every 10 minutes.
Adanos publishes neither its ticker-matching rule nor its per-comment dedup rule, which are two of the details this page just praised other vendors for publishing. ApeWisdom tells you a symbol must be uppercase to count and that a repeat inside one comment counts once. AltIndex tells you which timezone closes its daily bucket. We give you a source count.
A count of 50+ subreddits is not the enumeration we criticized Swaggy Stocks for withholding. Anyone reading "35,000+ tracked tickers" should assume loose matching until shown otherwise. If your strategy leans on symbols that are also ordinary English, $A, $ALL, $IT, $ON, $DD, $OPEN, treat those counts as unproven until you have looked at the raw mentions behind them, which the Professional tier returns.
Pricing is public.
- Free: $0 for 250 requests a month at 100 requests a minute with 30 days of history
- Hobby: $29 a month or $290 a year for 250,000 requests a month with 90 days of history
- Professional: $299 a month or $2,990 a year for 2,500,000 requests a month, up to 365 days of history, raw mention data and, the part that matters on this page, commercial use
There is also a free-access program for non-profits and education. A downstream commercial license is not the same question as upstream collection rights. If your compliance process covers both, which is reasonable for anyone redistributing a feed, raise it with us before you sign. That belongs in a contract, not on a marketing page.
StockGeist.ai, NLP scores, but check the status first
StockGeist.ai sells NLP-derived sentiment over social posts and news for more than 2,000 US stocks, at resolutions of the last five minutes, the last hour and the last day. Its models are described as trained on financial news and market language with an emphasis on relevance rather than volume.
The free tier is 10,000 monthly API credits plus one crypto stream and five stock streams. API access is sold as one-time credit packs, not a subscription. StockGeist lists a credit at $0.0001 and sells packs of $75 for 750,000 credits, $100 for 1.1 million and $1,000 for 12.5 million.
Only the $75 pack matches the unit price, so the two larger ones carry a volume bonus: take the pack sizes as published and do not derive them from the per-credit figure. What no StockGeist page says is what one credit buys, which is the number you would need to compare it with anything else here.
Dashboard plans are listed as Free $0, Starter $50 and Pro $100, with no billing period stated anywhere in the page markup, so treat those as amounts without a period until StockGeist says otherwise.
Check that it is running before you commit. Every StockGeist page we fetched in July 2026 carried a site-wide banner saying the dashboard is under maintenance. The documentation host docs.stockgeist.ai did not respond at all, despite being linked from their own API page. Their API pricing table also repeats one row verbatim. StockGeist publishes no terms of service, only a privacy policy and a disclaimer, so commercial rights are undocumented. The product is operated by Neurotechnology.
AltIndex API, one plan, one license restriction
AltIndex puts its API behind the Pro plan at $99 a month, authenticated with an X-API-Key header, with an MCP server offered alongside. The key allows 500 requests a day against 90 days of history. Higher limits and the full archive back to 2010 are enterprise territory.
Two things to know before you build:
- Stocktwits and 4chan data is collected the same way but is not yet exposed through the v2 API
- The license grants a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right for your own personal internal use, which rules out shipping AltIndex data inside a product
Quiver Quantitative API, no longer a WallStreetBets API
Quiver Quantitative's API no longer sells Reddit or WallStreetBets sentiment. Its current catalog is 18 datasets covering congressional trading, insider transactions, dark pool activity, lobbying, patents and similar filings-based feeds. A keyword scan of the pricing page and the docs for wallstreetbets, wsb, reddit, twitter, sentiment, social and stocktwits returned no matches in July 2026. The free WSB web page described above still exists, but you cannot buy it as a dataset.
For the political and filings data, Quiver's Hobbyist is $30.00 a month or $300 a year, Trader is $75.00 a month or $750 a year and Commercial is contact-priced. Both self-serve tiers are marked "No Commercial Use Rights" and stated to be for non-commercial use.
ApeWisdom API, the zero-friction free option
ApeWisdom offers the easiest free start, with the same caveat as its dashboard. A GET against its filter endpoint returns 200 with no key at all, paginated 100 results at a time, refreshed twice an hour. The response carries rank, ticker, name, mentions, upvotes and 24-hour deltas. There is no sentiment field. ApeWisdom publishes no terms of service at all, only a privacy policy, so nobody can tell you whether commercial use is permitted, including us.
Building it yourself, the option every vendor page leaves out
Reddit's official API plus an off-the-shelf sentiment model is a working WallStreetBets pipeline. For one person who codes it is roughly a weekend. Pull new submissions and comments from the subreddits you care about, match tickers, score the text with FinBERT or VADER, write rows to Postgres. Our own 50 lines of Python walkthrough is the short version of exactly this.
The payoff is control over your own timeline. Your history gets computed once, at collection time, by a model you control, which is the only version of point-in-time you can fully verify. Nobody can silently restate it later.
The costs are just as real: you now own a collector that has to run every hour forever, plus the ticker matcher and the dedup rules this page just admitted nobody publishes. Reddit's own API terms and rate limits become your problem. We did not verify them for this page, so read them before you plan around them.
The asymmetry that usually decides it is backfill. History starts the day your collector starts, so what a vendor with an archive really sells you is the twelve months you did not collect.
What the prices look like on one identical job
Vendors on this page quote in four different units: requests a month, requests a day, one-time credits and flat monthly access. Those do not compare, so price one concrete job instead. Say you want a daily reading on 100 tickers for a year, which is 36,500 requests if one request covers one ticker-day.
- Adanos: about 3,000 requests a month, well inside Hobby at $29. Hobby only holds 90 days of history though, so a full year of it means Professional at $299 a month. The free tier's 250 requests a month covers two and a half days of this job.
- AltIndex: 100 requests a day sits comfortably inside the Pro key's 500 a day, at $99 a month. The key reaches back 90 days, so the year again needs an enterprise conversation.
- StockGeist: not priceable. Their pages never define what a credit buys, so 36,500 requests cannot be converted into a pack size.
- ApeWisdom: free, but it answers a different question, since there is no sentiment in the response and no published history endpoint.
Entry tiers are priced on throughput, while the thing that actually gates a backtest is history depth. Every vendor here sells the deep archive at a step change, not a gentle increment, which is why the cheap plan so often turns out to be the wrong plan.
Questions to ask before you trust a history endpoint
Ask every vendor, us included, whether a historical score is the value that was computed on the day or a value recomputed with today's model. The distinction is not academic on Reddit. Comments get edited after the fact, deleted by moderators and indexed late, so the corpus for any given day is not the same corpus a week later.
A lexicon that grows over time is the sharper version of the same problem: score 2024 with a 2026 term list and you have leaked two years of hindsight into your backtest. Our own lexicon count appears higher up this page as a selling point, which is precisely what makes it a risk here.
We do not publish a point-in-time guarantee for BuzzScore history. Assume the same of any vendor that does not explicitly say otherwise. If it matters to your strategy, snapshot the series yourself each day and backtest against your snapshot.
The next question is what the vendor does about bots, karma farms, repost rings and coordinated pumps. Every mention count on this page is contaminated by them. LLM-generated comments have made that contamination cheap to produce.
The only published anti-gaming rule anywhere in this comparison is ApeWisdom's one-mention-per-comment cap, which limits how far a single verbose post can move a number. BuzzScore counts subreddit spread as one of its five components, so a burst confined to one sub does not score like a burst across many. That is a side effect of the design.
We do not publish a bot-detection method, nobody else here does either, so a vendor claiming clean mention counts is making a claim you cannot check.
Then there is whether the counts are comparable at all. AltIndex says outright that absolute mention counts are not comparable across platforms. The same warning applies vendor to vendor. Our 50+ subreddits, ApeWisdom's fifteen and Swaggy Stocks' unnamed set are three different denominators. A ticker at 400 mentions on one product and 90 on another is not a discrepancy, it is two different questions. Comparison only works within one vendor over time.
Tradestie, a documented endpoint that no longer works
Tradestie's documented Reddit endpoint is not usable in 2026. The host its docs tell you to call, api.tradestie.com, has a TLS certificate that expired on 3 January 2026, so curl aborts on the certificate. Bypassing TLS verification returns HTTP 502 from nginx. The parent domain holds a valid certificate through September 2026, so the main site is maintained while the API subdomain has been left to rot.
Worse for anyone who did get data out of Tradestie, through the undocumented path that still answers: the date parameter does not return historical sentiment. Sampled across six dates from December 2025 to July 2026, each ticker returned the same sentiment_score on every date while only the comment count moved.
The sentiment_score tracks the present, not the date you asked for, which we confirmed by watching SPY move from 0.503 to 0.331 between two rounds of checking on the same day, identical across all six dates each time. Tradestie's docs claim the algorithm recalculates sentiment every 15 minutes. Whatever it is doing, it is not answering historical queries, so do not backtest on it.
Our own Reddit tracker roundup used to call Tradestie the easiest free API. That recommendation no longer holds.
Stocktwits, closed to new API registrations
Stocktwits is not accepting new API registrations. Its developer portal says registrations are paused while Stocktwits reviews its APIs, documentation and terms. The footer on that page still reads 2021, so the freeze has been up for years. The legacy v2 endpoint returns 403 to any server-side request behind Cloudflare, is undocumented and is unsupported. API access now sits behind an Enterprise contact form with no published price. You cannot get a Stocktwits key today by any self-serve route.
Unusual Whales, a good product in a different category
Unusual Whales publishes 197 API endpoints and not one of them covers Reddit, X, Stocktwits or social-media sentiment. We parsed the full OpenAPI specification to check, because the name keeps surfacing in these searches. Every sentiment field in it is news-headline sentiment, earnings-call transcript sentiment or options-market sentiment. Unusual Whales is an options-flow and dark-pool product, which makes it a strong tool for its own job and the wrong shortlist entry for anyone replacing a WallStreetBets mention counter.
The same decision as a table
Of the eight products in the table below, three return a model-derived score, one grants written commercial rights on a self-serve tier and three publish no commercial terms at all. Rows run in the order the article covers them, with Swaggy Stocks as the baseline at the top.
| Tool | What the API returns | Sources | Free tier / from | Commercial terms |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Swaggy Stocks (baseline) | No documented API | WallStreetBets, subs not listed | Free, 15 tickers signed out | Scraping prohibited, no price published |
| ApeWisdom | Mentions and upvotes, no sentiment | 15 subreddits plus 4chan /biz | Free, no key | Not published |
| Quiver Quantitative | No social dataset in 2026 | Congress, SEC, dark pool | From $30.00/mo | No commercial use on self-serve |
| AltIndex | Per-platform scores | Reddit, Stocktwits, X, 4chan | API on Pro, $99/mo | Personal internal use only |
| Stocktwits | Registrations closed | Stocktwits users | Ad Free $8.00/mo | Enterprise only, price not published |
| Adanos | Score -1 to +1, BuzzScore 0-100 | Reddit, X, news, Polymarket | Free 250/mo, then $29 or $299 | Commercial on $299 Professional |
| StockGeist.ai | NLP sentiment scores | Reddit, X, news, blogs | 10,000 free credits, $75 pack | Not published |
| Tradestie (caution) | Frozen per-ticker constant | Reddit WallStreetBets | Free, no key | Not published |
Read the second column first. Swaggy Stocks and ApeWisdom tell you how loud a ticker is. Tradestie returns the same number whichever date you ask it for. Adanos, StockGeist and AltIndex tell you whether the crowd reads positive or negative.
The last column is where the field thins out: Quiver marks both self-serve tiers non-commercial, AltIndex licenses personal internal use only and most of the free options publish nothing at all, which is not the same thing as permission.
One caveat on the loudness column, ours included: those counts are not comparable between vendors, because no two products here watch the same set of boards.
Moving off a dashboard without rebuilding your workflow
Most Swaggy Stocks views map onto one or two API calls, so the migration is usually smaller than it looks. The exception is the options tooling, which no sentiment API replaces.
- Most Mentioned 24hrs becomes a ranked trending call over Reddit. You can see the shape of that output with no key on Reddit Top 100 Stocks. Read the survivorship note below before you point a backtest at it.
- Realtime becomes the full ranked list, not the top five, at whatever cadence the vendor collects. For Adanos that is hourly. Be clear about the trade: an hourly batch is no fresher than a fixed 30-minute delay, since its average staleness is about the same and its worst case is twice as bad. What you gain is every ticker in the ranking, not five.
- Social sentiment labels become numbers. A bullish or bearish tag turns into a score from -1 to +1 per mention plus a 0 to 100 daily BuzzScore, which you can threshold however you like.
- Crypto sentiment maps to a separate feed, in our case the Reddit crypto API.
- Short squeeze list, penny stocks, commodities are filters over a ranked ticker list. Once the ranking arrives as JSON, you write the filter instead of clicking a tab.
- Max Pain and Theta Gang have no equivalent. Options positioning is not sentiment data, so keep a Swaggy Stocks tab open for those or use a dedicated options-flow vendor.
One trap sits inside the first bullet. A top-N endpoint returns today's survivors, so a universe built by replaying it every day and joining the results to price history is selected on the outcome you are trying to predict. The tickers that spiked and then died drop out of the ranking, taking their losses with them, which is how a mention-spike strategy backtests beautifully and trades badly.
Build the universe from a fixed list you decide in advance, then query history per ticker, including the ones that stopped trending.
Symbol changes leak the same way: tickers get renamed, merged and delisted, so a series keyed on the current symbol quietly attributes the old company's buzz to the new one. Our own stock pipeline carries a manual override list for exactly this, which should tell you how well automatic symbol mapping works.
The end-to-end version is written up in Build a WSB sentiment dashboard in 50 lines of Python, which is the natural next step once you have picked a scored API. If you would rather see a response before writing any code, the Finance Sentiment CLI prints one in a terminal.
Where Adanos fits and where it does not
Adanos is our own product, so here is the version we would want to read if somebody else had written this page.
Honest strengths
- A model score per mention from -1 to +1, not a keyword label
- Reddit stocks, Reddit crypto, X, news and Polymarket on one key
- Hourly collection across 50+ subreddits, with the cadence published
- Written commercial rights on the $299 Professional tier
- Free ranking pages and a free tier, so you can check the data before registering
Honest limits
- Reddit collection is hourly. A batch on the hour means an average lag near 30 minutes and a worst case of a full hour
- 250 requests a month on the free tier is a look, not an evaluation. Any serious trial starts at $29
- History is 30 days on Free and 90 on Hobby, so nothing below the $299 tier lets you backtest a year
- We publish no accuracy figure against a labeled set. The method is documented, the scoreboard is not
- Neither the ticker-matching rule nor the per-comment dedup rule is published
- No options data at all. Max pain and theta tooling sit outside what we do
- If you only want a free WallStreetBets dashboard, you do not need us. Swaggy Stocks is fine, as is ApeWisdom
Four of the seven alternatives in the table have decayed in some way: Tradestie's certificate expired, StockGeist's dashboard is mid-maintenance, Stocktwits froze its developer program years ago and Quiver's WallStreetBets numbers stopped in February 2025. Having made vendor rot the most memorable part of this page, we owe you the same question about ourselves. What happens when the vendor doing the recommending is the one that goes quiet?
We can offer signals, not guarantees. Adanos publishes a status page and an API changelog, which is where you find out that something stopped, before you notice it missing from a chart six months later. We do not offer a data-escrow arrangement.
The mitigation available to you is the unglamorous one: pull on a schedule into your own store from day one. Professional includes raw mention data alongside commercial rights, so a scheduled pull into your own database is a supported use of the product, not a workaround. A year of history you already hold survives anything that happens to us.
FAQ
Does Swaggy Stocks have an API?
Swaggy Stocks publishes no API documentation. The site does render a developer key screen whose counter reads Active Keys 0 / 5. Its terms of service mention a guideline of roughly 100 requests per rolling 7-day window for free accounts, yet no endpoint reference, OpenAPI file or docs page exists anywhere on the domain. The same terms prohibit scraping and automated harvesting, so there is no documented self-serve route for building on Swaggy Stocks data.
Is Swaggy Stocks free?
Swaggy Stocks is free to use and ad-supported. Signed-out visitors see exactly 15 tickers before a prompt to create a free account. The realtime WallStreetBets view shows the top five tickers on a 30-minute delay. Swaggy Stocks publishes no price for expanded access anywhere on the site, and its pricing page returns a 404 error. Ask the vendor directly whether paid access is available and on what terms.
What is the best free Swaggy Stocks alternative?
ApeWisdom is the closest free alternative, because ApeWisdom works for browsing as well as for code. ApeWisdom needs no signup, scans fifteen stock and crypto subreddits twice an hour and exposes a public API with no key. The tradeoff is that ApeWisdom returns mentions and upvotes with no sentiment field at all.
What is the best Swaggy Stocks alternative with a real sentiment score?
Adanos, StockGeist and AltIndex return model-derived scores rather than keyword labels. Adanos scores every mention from -1 to +1 with a finance-tuned RoBERTa and VADER ensemble weighted 60/40, across Reddit, X, news and Polymarket. StockGeist applies NLP to social posts and news. AltIndex documents separate Reddit and X scores. Disclosure: Adanos is our own product.
Can you use Swaggy Stocks data commercially?
Swaggy Stocks publishes no commercial license. Its terms of service prohibit scraping, automated harvesting and rate-limit evasion. Copying, modification, distribution or derivative works all require prior permission. For written commercial rights, Adanos grants them on its $299 Professional tier while Quiver Quantitative sells a contact-priced Commercial tier. Quiver's Hobbyist and Trader plans are marked non-commercial.
